This Privacy Policy applies specifically to the Style Engine browser extension developed by Glitchid.
Overview
Style Engine is a client-side customization tool that allows users to inject custom CSS and JavaScript into websites. The extension operates locally within the user’s browser.
Data Collection
Style Engine does not collect, store, transmit, or sell personal data.
- No browsing history is collected.
- No page content is transmitted to external servers.
- No analytics or tracking systems are embedded.
- No user accounts are required.
Local Storage
All CSS and JavaScript rules created by the user are stored locally using the browser’s extension storage APIs.
Data remains on the user’s device unless the user manually exports it via the Backup feature.
Permissions
Style Engine may request host permissions in order to inject user-defined code into selected websites.
These permissions are used exclusively to apply rules written and saved by the user.
The extension does not analyze, monitor, or transmit page data.
Backup & Restore
The Backup feature allows users to export configuration data to a local JSON file. This process does not involve cloud storage or remote servers.
Third-Party Services
Style Engine does not rely on third-party analytics services or remote code execution.
Security
Since the extension operates locally and does not transmit user data, information control remains with the user.
